STEP 1
Sketched
Every story starts as a sinopia, the red underdrawing a fresco painter makes on the plaster. Stories at this stage appear on the site as sketches.
ABOUT FRESCO
The whole Bible, painted, in order.
Fresco Bible Stories is a series of animated, painted Bible stories for adults, told in order from Genesis to Revelation, with every verse quoted word for word from the Berean Standard Bible.
How a story is made
From the first red line to the verse you keep.
STEP 2
Painted, lit and scored
Each scene is painted, then given depth, light and air so it moves like cinema. The sound comes from real recordings and an original score.
STEP 3
Word for word
Scripture is quoted exactly from the Berean Standard Bible and shown with its reference. Lines in our own words carry no reference, so you always know which is which.
STEP 4
Kept close
Every film ends on a verse with its painting, ready for your iPhone Lock Screen in Bible Verse & Widget for Women.
Who makes Fresco
Fresco is made by the makers of Bible Verse & Widget for Women. The narration tells each story and adds a little reflection; the Scripture inside it is always word for word.
